Job summary
Fraser Health is seeking an experienced Leader, Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Physician Services to join our team in British Columbia. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for OH&S programs across physician portfolios and Health Authorities.
This role requires shaping long-range safety priorities, leading program delivery, aligning initiatives with strategic plans, and building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders to create safer, healthier workplaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational and environmental hygiene, ergonomics, kinesiology, occupational health nursing or related field.
- 7–9 years of related leadership experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional designation such as CRSP, CDMP, OHN or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Shape long-range safety priorities for the physician portfolio.
- Lead OH&S programs and services across Health Authorities.
- Connect strategy with operations and manage change effectively.
- Navigate complex stakeholder issues and disputes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team; recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders across organizations.
