Job summary

Desjardins is seeking an IT Security Officer (ITSO) to oversee information security for a defined IT sector within the property and casualty insurance domain. You will analyze risk, contextualize vulnerabilities, and produce security dashboards for executives, while guiding sector initiatives and investments.

The role requires eight years of relevant experience, certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CISM/CAMS, and strong French with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
• Minimum eight years of relevant information security experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CAMS or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in risk management, vulnerabilities, and security architecture.
• Strong executive communication skills in French; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information security for a defined IT sector within the Desjardins group.
• Lead risk analysis, review action plans, and monitor sector initiatives.
• Produce information security dashboards and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with BSOs and influence critical suppliers on security delivery.
• Drive sector-wide security projects and strategic investments.
