Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking an inventory analytics specialist to optimize procurement and inventory levels. You will build automated dashboards, monitor KPI performance, and support AI-driven planning enhancements.

The role requires 2+ years in supply chain analytics, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong data skills with SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI. You will collaborate with diverse teams in a global environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in inventory analysis, supply chain analytics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline as listed.
• Experience with ERP systems, planning tools, and operational data sources.
• Ability to develop dashboards, management reports, and scorecards.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Power BI, trend analysis, KPI monitoring, and automated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Determine inventory levels per family and product class.
• Analyze procurement strategies and suggest mitigations to impacts.
• Monitor production rate changes and inventory fluctuations.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards, Power BI reports, and KPIs.
• Apply SQL, Python, Excel, Power Query to extract and transform data.
• Support transition to automated, predictive, AI-assisted planning.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on AI, forecasting, and inventory optimization advances.
