Job summary

Export Packers Company Limited, based in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize replenishment planning and inventory levels using ERP and BI tools. The role collaborates with Sales, Buyers and Demand Planning to translate data into actionable insights while driving efficiency across the supply chain.

This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, replenishment, or related analytical roles.
• Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP and BI reporting tools; Microsoft 365 and Power BI experience are assets.
• Experience analyzing sales forecasts, inventory turns, service levels, safety stock, and replenishment requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels across assigned divisions and categories, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Analyze sales, forecasts, supply, inventory turns, service levels, and replenishment data to develop item-level strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales on item-category forecasts and incorporate market insights into inventory planning.
• Work closely with Buyers to ensure replenishment plans are executed and inventory is maintained.
• Report to senior management on inventory levels, risks, trends, and issues with actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc inventory reports to support decisions.
