Job summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for 40+ programs with a $51 million budget. You’ll supervise a small finance team, partner with leaders, and translate complex numbers into actionable insights to guide decisions and improve systems.

CPA required; strong governance, ASNPO knowledge, and a track record in not-for-profit finance are essential. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Victoria, BC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation and ASNPO knowledge required.
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting.
• Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Leadership, staff development and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal financial reporting, variance and trend analysis, forecasting.
• Prepare external reports to funders and ensure compliance.
• Analyze program performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leadership and program managers on initiatives and planning.
• Supervise accounting staff and oversee close processes.
