Job summary

Lyft seeks a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team for Lyft Urban Solutions, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, RFP bid modeling and strategic analysis. The candidate will excel in financial modeling, attention to detail and navigating ambiguity, supporting financial close and reporting.

The role involves partnering with Ops and Commercial teams, building multi-source models, and presenting insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen and ability to partner across Operations, Commercial, and Finance.
• Fast-paced environment and ability to communicate and storytell for leadership.
• Excel/GSheet modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, scenario analysis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with drive to uncover root causes.
• Presentation tools experience; Anaplan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Support monthly close: reconcile actuals to budget and explain variances.
• Synthesize data from Oracle, fleet systems, and P&L into models.
• Maintain and improve forecasting models and reporting processes.
• Identify process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase automation.
• Partner with Ops/Commercial on RFP requirements, costs, and bid modeling.
• Build 10-year RFP bid models covering fleet sizing, deployment, costs and profitability.
• Conduct scenario analysis and present insights to leadership.
