Job summary

EY Canada is seeking a seasoned Financial Diligence professional to join our Parthenon Practice. You will lead and contribute to due diligence engagements for acquisitions and divestitures, analyze financial results, and help shape transaction strategy for clients across Canada and beyond.

This role requires strong Excel, analytics skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. Travel within Canada and the US is expected; bilingual French/English is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires bilingualism in French and English.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with 2 years of diligence experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting and/or related major.
• CPA or CA, CPA certification (or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Proficiency with analytics tools including PowerBI and Alteryx.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork and travel willingness within Canada and US.

Responsibilities

• Participate in due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or divestments.
• Analyse financial/operational results of targets and interview management.
• Identify GAAP issues and quantify effects on valuation.
• Prepare/evaluate pro forma financial information.
• Identify post-acquisition/divestiture action steps and deal structures.
• Develop teams through supervision and feedback, and manage cross-functional collaboration.
