Job summary

COSTI in Toronto is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, reporting, and financial planning across divisions. You will coordinate the bi-annual budget cycle, review program budgets, prepare variance analyses, and assist with year-end close and audits, collaborating with program managers and the Finance team.

You will also oversee property and lease administration, insurance renewals, and cost allocations, and help develop and maintain financial models, workflows, and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting.
• Experience with government funding and/or in the non-profit sector is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bi-annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Review budget submissions for accuracy and alignment with objectives; prepare variance analyses.
• Support year-end financial close and audit processes; provide required documentation.
• Provide dedicated financial support to divisions and programs; prepare quarterly reports and funder submissions.
• Oversee property and lease administration activities, insurance renewals, and cost allocations; develop reporting tools.
