Job summary

Bell Canada is seeking an Analyst, Business Planning to provide strategic insights, budgeting, and performance analysis to drive growth. You will forecast, budget, and evaluate business performance while partnering with cross‑functional teams to optimize results.

The role emphasizes translating data into actionable insights with strong analytical capabilities and expertise in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in business planning, financial analysis, or consulting in telecommunications or subscription-based businesses is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Analytical Prowess: financial acumen and ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Technical proficiencies: advanced Excel, experience with Power BI/Tableau and/or SQL/Python; AI tools are an asset.
• TimeManagement: fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and initiative.
• Communications: excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans for video services.
• Maintain and enhance financial/operational models to forecast revenue, ARPU, churn, and cost drivers.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations and recommendations.
• Create dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL; produce regular and ad-hoc performance reports and executive presentations.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product to evaluate initiatives and investment cases.
• Conduct scenario analysis and assess financial impacts of programs and pricing changes.
