Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for its AOS Finance team in Canada. You will partner with AOS leadership on planning, forecasting, and financial insights, and support financial modeling for M&A and integration of acquired companies into Autodesk.

You’ll influence senior leaders on strategic decisions through rigorous financial analysis, manage planning cadence, and drive productivity and automation across the finance function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting, ideally including time at a software company.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional leaders, including senior executives
• Advanced financial modeling skills including experience building M&A financial models
• Strong experience with SaaS metrics and revenue modeling (ARR, retention, bookings and billings, pricing and packaging); consumption-based model a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complexity into executive-ready insights
• Experience in global, matrixed environments
• Solution-driven, innovative mindset with a track record of improving financial systems and processes
• Curiosity about AI and using it to improve finance workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or economics; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Partnership with AOS leadership on investment trade-offs, prioritization, and ROI; prepare quarterly reviews and Board materials.
• Develop financial analyses and models for pricing and packaging for subscription and consumption models; build business cases.
• Run annual plan, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and long-range ARR, ACV, revenue, headcount and expenses models.
• Build and own financial models for M&A, partnerships, and buy-vs-build opportunities; support projections for acquisition targets.
• Lead FP&A for newly acquired companies: align financial structure, ARR definitions, and reporting; monitor integration progress.
• Develop and report topline financial metrics; analyze results to identify key trends.
• Track spend and headcount against plan; explain variances; support budgeting.
• Improve models, reporting, and automation; explore AI-enabled analysis and forecasting
