J.D. Irving, Limited is seeking a senior finance leader to deliver timely financial reporting, support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and lead a high-performing finance team. This role partners with Sales and cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and profitability, and to drive strategic financial outcomes.

The position requires a CPA designation (or in progress) and 7–10 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities across the organization.

• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with insights.
• Prepare and analyze finance and operational reports for strategy.
• Lead and develop finance team members fostering accountability.
• Support talent management within the finance function.
• Contribute to departmental and organizational initiatives.
• Evaluate profitability and partner with Sales to optimize pricing.
• Lead annual budgeting process and coordinate stakeholders.
• Interface with Corporate Finance for various analyses.
• Identify cost reductions and margin improvements via data-driven analysis.
