Job summary

Twin Valley Co-op Ltd. is hiring a Finance Manager/Controller to lead the finance function at our Corporate Administration Office in Birtle, MB. You will partner with the GM and Senior Leadership to drive financial strategy and governance.

The role requires CPA designation, 6+ years of financial leadership, and a proven track record in budgeting, reporting, and internal controls to support growth and member value.

Qualifications

• CPA is required, or actively pursuing CPA may be considered depending on experience.
• Progressive 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or senior financial leadership.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audit, tax, and compliance.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, capital planning, risk management, and organizational decision-making.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and support high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, tax, audit, payables, receivables and compliance.
• Partner with GM and SLT on planning, policy, capital decisions, investments, and organizational priorities.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on finance, cash flow, capital additions, business performance, and trends.
• Maintain strong financial controls, support Enterprise Risk Management, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare clear financial information and reporting to support governance and board oversight.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across the organization.
