Job summary

Edmonton International Airport seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the Finance team and support monthly and annual reporting. You will help produce timely financial statements, perform variance analyses, and prepare journal entries. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and auditors is essential.

You have a university degree in accounting/finance, CPA or near completion, and 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience. Advanced Excel and Power BI experience are valued.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field.
• CPA designation or near completion.
• Minimum 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel and Office Suite skills.
• Knowledge of Canadian GAAP; ASNPO/ASPE is an asset.
• Experience with monthly close and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Assist monthly and annual financial reporting, including ad-hoc reporting.
• Prepare reconciliations, variance analyses, and posting journal entries during close.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Develop and improve financial reporting with stakeholders.
• Mentor staff and provide technical guidance to the team.
