Job summary

McAfee is seeking a Data Analyst with a product-owner mindset to bridge raw telemetry and strategic business action within the Strategic Analytics team. You will own the narrative, building scalable solutions in Databricks and uncovering root causes that drive marketing performance and product health.

This hybrid role is based in Waterloo, Canada, onsite as needed; when not onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, econometrics, CS or related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
• Knowledge of data architecture, modeling, and data integration best practices.
• Ability to ensure data integrity across multiple sources and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Experience with statistical analysis and experimentation, including A/B testing.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move beyond descriptive analytics to diagnostic and predictive analysis.
• Own end-to-end execution as analytics lead for your domain with stakeholders.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines in Databricks (PySpark/SQL).
• Translate complex data findings into executive-level narratives.
• Champion data governance and documentation to ensure trust in numbers.
