Our client, an investment firm in Canada, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. You will lead corporate tax work, including provisions, income tax returns, planning, and audits, while guiding tax research and advisory across Finance, Operations, and Legal.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of corporate tax experience, CPA or Master of Taxation, and experience in financial services or multi-entity structures, with Big 4 or in-house background preferred. Competitive bonus and benefits.

Formación

• University degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline (equivalent work experience considered).
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting/tax experience including corporate tax, audits, disputes and transfer pricing.
• CPA or Master of Taxation required; CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program preferred.
• Big 4 or in-house corporate tax experience preferred; strong tax legislation knowledge.
• Knowledge of Canadian/global investment tax issues and tax accounting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform corporate tax work: provisions, income tax returns, research, planning and audits.
• Review tax processes and lead tax engagements; manage audits.
• Provide tax support and advice to Finance, Operations, Legal and business units.
• Research tax issues and propose recommendations; assist with non-routine projects.
