Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation seeks a Director, Communications, Pacific Link to provide strategic leadership for the project’s communications, reputation, and brand portfolio across all phases of the Pacific Link lifecycle. You will guide messaging, stakeholder engagement, and executive counsel to leadership.

Reporting to the VP External Affairs and Indigenous Relations, the role partners with Trans Mountain, Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, and Pembina Pipeline, driving governance, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Affairs, Political Science, Business or related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Business Administration, Political Science or related field is an asset.
• Designation, through IABC, CPRS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies across all phases of the Pacific Link lifecycle.
• Provide strategic communications counsel to executive leadership on opportunities, risks and external developments.
• Lead reputation management, issues preparedness, and crisis communications strategies.
