Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team in Oakville, ON. The CFO will oversee financial strategy, accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting and risk management to support growth across Canada and the U.S. footprint.

The role requires 10+ years in senior financial leadership, CPA designation, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise value and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive senior financial leadership experience
• Experience as CFO or equivalent with multi-division accountability
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-year financial strategy aligned with growth and shareholder value.
• Oversee financial reporting, controls, and compliance across regions.
• Manage treasury, debt facilities, insurance, liquidity planning and funding.
• Lead risk management, tax planning, and strategic financial advisory to ownership.
• Partner with operations, commercial, legal, HR, safety, procurement and regional leadership to drive performance.
