Strategic Catering(Restaurants) Partnership Manager

hungerhub is a foodtech startup founded in Toronto in 2018, operating in over 10 markets across Ontario, Alberta, and BC.

Our mission is to revolutionize catering by connecting offices with top local restaurants for daily meal delivery. We leverage technology and a people-first approach to empower restaurants to become caterers, providing seamless, customized experiences for clients and their employees.

We are a remote-first company with a physical office for optional use. We occasionally meet in person for collaborative work and social activities, including complimentary lunches ordered via our app platform.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to oversee our restaurant partnerships, set strategic objectives, and work cross-functionally to ensure success. You will identify client needs, prioritize partners, monitor partner performance, and update policies accordingly, directly impacting our company's growth.

This role involves working closely with sales, account management, operations, and support teams to enhance partner satisfaction and sales across our services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and account management to understand client needs and coordinate with restaurant acquisition teams.
  • Assist with onboarding and maintaining restaurant partnerships, addressing issues proactively.
  • Manage relationships with high-value partners engaged across multiple services.
  • Ensure restaurant partners maximize sales across all hungerhub services.

Qualifications

Minimum proven experience in the restaurant or catering industry, preferably in a strategic or leadership role. Candidates should possess:

  • A passion for food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivation, target orientation, and effective time management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Familiarity with food delivery and catering markets, and understanding of local restaurant dynamics (a plus).
  • Proficiency with CRM and organizational tools.
