Job summary

Schill Insurance Brokers Ltd is seeking a Strata Insurance Account Manager to partner with property managers and strata councils, guiding them through renewal and coverage decisions with proactive service.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate with insurers and underwriters, and ensure accurate, timely documentation while supporting the Strata team’s growth.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Level1 General Insurance License.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Property Insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, professional relationships with property managers and strata councils.
  • Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
  • Review policy wordings and quotations for accuracy and client needs.
  • Coordinate with underwriters and markets to secure appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain complete documentation in Epic for all client interactions.
  • Support Account Executives to service and grow the Strata book of business.

The Role

As a Strata Insurance Account Manager, you’ll be atrusted partner to property managers and strata councils, helping them navigatethe unique complexities of strata insurance with confidence. You’ll manageclient relationships, lead renewal and policy processes, coordinate withinsurers and underwriters, and ensure clients receive proactive, consistent,5-star service.

Your ability to understand risk, explain coverage clearly,and stay ahead of deadlines will help protect what matters most to our clientswhile supporting the continued success of our Strata team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Buildstrong, professional relationships with property managers and stratacouncils through responsive, proactive service
  • Respondto client inquiries and provide clear guidance on coverages, limits,deductibles, exclusions, and key exposures
  • Helpclients understand their insurance options and make confident, informeddecisions
  • Reachout proactively before renewal to understand changes, discuss increases,and identify potential coverage needs
  • Ensureclient coverage remains accurate and help identify and prevent potentialgaps
  • Developa strong understanding of each client’s business, property, and uniquestrata exposures

Manage Policies & Renewals

  • Managenew business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes inaccordance with Schill procedures
  • Preparesubmissions, proposals, binders, invoices, certificates, endorsements, andclient correspondence
  • Reviewpolicy wordings and quotations to confirm accuracy and alignment withclient needs
  • Comparequotations and identify restrictions, exclusions, coverage limitations,and other important considerations
  • Reviewexpiry lists well in advance and gather the information required forrenewal and remarketing
  • Maintaincomplete and accurate documentation in Epic for all client, insurer, andunderwriting interactions
  • Trackoutstanding activities and follow up proactively to ensure deadlines andservice standards are met

Work with Underwriters & Insurance Markets

  • Frontline-underwritenew and renewal business in accordance with insurer guidelines and Schillstandards
  • Preparecomplete and accurate submissions and ensure underwriting information isprovided in a timely manner
  • Obtainadditional information requested by underwriters and assist clients withcompleting applications
  • Buildstrong working relationships with underwriters and insurance markets
  • Staycurrent on market appetite, strata trends, coverage changes, and industrydevelopments
  • Coordinateremarketing activities and work with markets to secure appropriatecoverage for clients

Support the Team & Grow the Business

  • Partnerclosely with Account Executives to effectively service and grow the Stratabook of business
  • Identifyrelevant coverage needs and rounding opportunities and coordinate with theAccount Executive as appropriate
  • Supportcolleagues during high-volume periods or absences
  • Contributeto a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment
  • Maintainhigh standards for documentation, workflow, client service, andfollow-through

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • Level1 General Insurance License
  • 3-5 year experience working in Property Insurance
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Strongorganizational and time management abilities
  • Highattention to detail and accuracy
  • Abilityto manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strongjudgement and problem-solving skills
  • Abilityto communicate insurance concepts and coverage information clearly toclients

Nice-to-Haves

  • Level2 General Insurance License
  • Experienceworking with strata insurance products and markets
  • Experienceworking with property managers and/or strata councils
  • Workingknowledge of strata risk exposures, coverage requirements, and policywordings
  • Experiencewith frontline underwriting and insurer submission guidelines
  • Proficiencywith Epic and insurer portals
  • CommercialLines insurance experience
  • Experiencemanaging a book of business or client portfolio
