Job summary

AppleOne, Inc. in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a CAD Drafter for Stormwater Management to join our engineering team. This full-time role focuses on preparing accurate shop drawings and supporting client submissions and fabrication packages.

The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills and experience interpreting civil drawings, with an interest in stormwater, drainage, precast concrete, or infrastructure projects. Office-based with occasional factory visits, typical hours from 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Strong AutoCAD skills and civil drawing interpretation experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Prepare engineered shop drawings for stormwater management systems, including submission and fabrication packages.
• Review technical details for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal drafting standards.
• Maintain drawing registries, technical documentation, engineering records, and related project files.
• Communicate with internal teams to clarify technical details, resolve discrepancies, and support project timelines.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment.
