NQF Level 2 : Wholesale and Retail 12-Month Fixed-Term Learnership

Are you passionate about retail and fashion? Are you eager to grow your skills and build a career in a supportive, inclusive environment?

We are offering an exciting 12-month learnership opportunity for people living with a disability to gain hands-on experience in retail operations while completing a formal qualification: NQF Level 2 Wholesale and Retail.

As a Stores Learner, you will be cross-trained to work on both the sales floor and the service desk, developing essential retail skills to become a competent, customer-focused sales consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete a minimum of 120 hours of practical work
  2. Learn and apply product knowledge
  3. Prepare for and complete assessments successfully
  4. Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise
  5. Merchandise stock according to store standards (MBP principles)
  6. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for purchases and payments
  7. Open new customer accounts
  8. Assist with stock loss prevention and control
  9. Build positive relationships with customers
  10. Ensure safety and security of customers and store environment
Minimum Requirements:
  • South African Citizen
  • Living with a documented disability (proof will be required)
  • A strong interest in fashion and the retail environment
  • Must be available for the full 12 months of the learnership
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed
  • Team player with a positive attitude
