About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Provincial Stockpile Manager, the Stores Clerk A position will support multiple sites within the Central Zone and perform a number of duties including:

  • Picking of orders from a pre-printed Pick Sheet
  • Proper packing, labeling, shrink wrapping and staging of picked orders for shipping
  • Put away incoming shipments and keeping the warehouse clean
  • The incumbent will also be responsible for operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, e.g. electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, etc.
  • Organize and label ship the orders picked and choose carriers based on weight / delivery instructions
  • Verifying delivery instructions of orders for health care services / government institutions and ensuring they are communicated to appropriate courier services
  • Maintain warehouse operations workflow
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed, such as the loading/unloading of delivery vehicles, cycle counts and special projects, as well as the organizing and delivering of stock and non-stock items, some of which may be Dangerous Goods
About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII required
  • Must have or be willing to take the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification course and WHMIS certification
  • Must be certified for use of electric pallet jacks
  • Must be certified in the use of fork lift operation
  • Experience with computerized inventory control and tracking systems is preferred (ex. MS Office, SAP, Tecsys, Shopify, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (unloading trucks/loading, moving, pushing, lifting, and reaching)
  • Experience working under Standard Operating Procedures
  • Knowledge of pick control locations and units of issue is preferred
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Incentives

$17.90 - $19.40 Hourly
