Overview of Department
The logistics department ensures the efficient and effective flow of goods, services, and information across the supply chain to meet customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing value.

Role Summary
The primary goal of the storekeeper is to ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading of vehicles
• Receiving products into Goods inwards
• Inbound & outbound quality control
• Locating stock into stores locations
• Sales / Service / Transfer order picking and packing
• Process improvements
• Use of Company ERP system
• Mercury measurement (only certain specialists)

Stakeholders (internal/external):

• Interaction with external drivers and contractors
• Interaction with sales order coordinators / service coordinators regarding questions about the pick list
• Interaction with shipping regarding questions about shipping documents
• Interaction with mission assurance regarding safety or quality concerns

About You

Technical Skills

• Significant previous experience in a similar environment.
• Good clerical skills
• Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
• Education to GCSE level in Maths and English
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift with a current license.
• Knowledge of BaaN ERP System (preferred)
