JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing & Materials, the storekeeper will be responsible for assisting in efficient warehouse operations for all products/parts required to support the maintenance and operations of Skyservice aircraft and operations by maintaining a high level of safety and customer service to our internal and external customers.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the receiving and storage of goods;
2. Ensure accurate data entry using Inventory Control Systems;
3. Conduct physical inventory counts as well as parts selection;
4. Responsible for the proper handling of delicate components;
5. Accountable for shipping various goods via courier, carrier, or ‘comat’, domestic and international;
6. Ensure that all goods are shipped adhering to the dangerous goods shipping and handling procedures;
7. Maintain constant communication within the department;
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. High School Diploma completed
2. Minimum two (2) years working in a warehouse environment. Experience within an airline maintenance store is preferred;
3. Excellent working knowledge of airline stores environment;
4. Experience within a warehouse environment receiving, packing, picking, and shipping;
5. Must be able to obtain a clean driver’s abstract;
6. Ability to travel to provide support when required.
