This Full Time Retail Sales Specialist role is ideal for someone who can work effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that meets expectations. The sales representative should be outgoing, friendly, and capable of driving sales and brand awareness for our client’s products at major retail locations. CAD $44,000 - $50,000 annually

Responsibilities:

1. Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs.
2. Communicate effectively both internally with company management and externally with customers.
3. Sell at store level “live orders” for multiple clients (>5 clients) in over 50% of their stores monthly.
4. Increase sales volume through promotional activities, including building displays, creating themes for holiday/special promos, and adjusting plan-o-grams as needed.
5. Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized items are accurately tagged and removing un-saleable or out-of-code products.
6. Work on item authorization to meet client shelf schematic standards, including tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials.
7. Achieve client goals by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
8. Spend over 4 days per month preparing and making wholesaler subgroup headquarter calls, with a minimum of four subgroup calls.
9. Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required.
2. Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 0 to 2 years of experience in retail, client, or food brokerage.
3. Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
4. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
5. Mathematical and analytical skills.
