Job summary

Indigo is seeking a Product Operations Leader to drive our store's visual merchandising priorities, delivering a customer-centric experience that boosts sales, engagement, loyalty, and profitability.

You will oversee changeovers, door-to-floor, returns, cycle counts, markdowns, and promotional setup, ensuring all merchandising reflects the Indigo brand and standards, while coaching the team to achieve high performance and store excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• College degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience executing inventory management, merchandising, and operational processes.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory control.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Operational discipline, including pricing accuracy and standards.
• Adaptable and agile, with ability to leverage AI-enabled tools.
• Bilingualism (French/English) for Quebec roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of product operations priorities within the store, ensuring inventory accuracy, product availability, merchandising standards, operational efficiency, and customer readiness.
• Ensure Indigo Experience and READ customer service model are brought to life through coaching and feedback.
• Own Door-to-Floor execution, ensuring inventory is received, processed, replenished, and available for purchase.
• Lead replenishment, overstock management, and product flow activities.
• Execute inventory management routines including cycle counts, audits, Reportal, returns, and related controls.
• Lead markdown execution, ensuring pricing updates and product presentation are completed on time.
• Lead merchandising workbooks, planograms, and weekly merchandising changes.
• Own store signage and promotional setup activities.
• Enforce Indigo's visual merchandising standards and storytelling.
• Complete weekly Visual Merchandising Audits (VMAs) and coach teams.
• Monitor inventory, replenishment, and merchandising performance to identify issues.
• Partner with Product Operations Manager, Customer Experience Manager, and General Manager.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training on operational processes and product flow.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment and health/safety compliance.
