Store Manager Silk & Snow (Toronto - Summerhill)
At Silk & Snow, we create products that turn your house into a home. We help bring affordable luxury to our customers by providing meticulously crafted sleep products that elevate personal sanctuaries and promote rest. We are opening our newest Silk & Snow store in Toronto (1133 Yonge Street).
As a dynamic Store Manager you are passionate, results-driven, customer focused and can lead an outstanding team, motivate and inspire great performance.
Responsibilities
- Drive the growth and strategic initiatives of Silk & Snow, maximize the sales efficiency and revenue potential of Sales Associates.
- Motivate and provide clear direction, priorities and communication to the team so that goals and objectives are achieved.
- Develop and implement day-to-day visual merchandise strategies and product displays.
- Be responsible for the P&L performance, monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Enhance the customer experience by building relationships and connecting customers to our brand and brand values.
- Manage, coach, train and develop the sales team and foster an environment of inspiration and empowerment.
- Maintain staffing schedules and adapt to changes in business or traffic trends.
- Ensure store standards are met (health and safety, product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping).
- Represent the brand values with a focus on customer, wellness, transparency and sustainability.
- Communicate the story behind the brand to customers.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers to learn about our products and brand.
- Address escalated customer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Have at least 2+ years of sales experience with a track record of strong store sales and demonstrated performance.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Creative with a strong sense of style and understanding of visual merchandising.
- Excels in a team environment.
- Ambitious, charismatic and passionate about people and sales.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to achieve sales and deliver excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated leadership in motivating and developing a sales team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends.
