Store Manager - Retail

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Work setting: Retail business.

Tasks include managing staff, studying market research, determining merchandise, developing marketing strategies, planning budgets, staffing, resolving issues, recruiting, and supervising daily operations.

Supervision: 5-10 people.

Work conditions include a fast-paced environment, working under pressure, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
