What You’ll Do

  1. Customer Service
  • Provide leadership to the team, consistently coach, and follow up to ensure the delivery of service model standards to each customer.
  • Enforce delivery of our operating model customer service standards.
  • Offer an exceptional omni-channel experience by facilitating in-store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels.
  • Support customer acquisition efforts through promotion of our customer loyalty and credit card programs.
  • Operations
    • Demonstrate and ensure execution of Mark’s visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing standards.
    • Establish plans and follow up on weekly price changes, promotional setups, and department POPs, ensuring 100% system pricing including weekly sweeps.
    • Responsible for achieving annual shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standards, and inventory control.
    • Oversee preparations for annual inventories.
    • Ensure compliance with all corporate LP, Cash and Audit, and OH&S policies and procedures.
    • Create and monitor efficient store weekly schedules for sales and support functions.
  • Training
    • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to management and team members based on key metrics and observed behaviors via Shift Starters, one-on-ones, and performance management programs.
    • Create development plans and conduct annual appraisals for management and direct reports; support and coach to address performance gaps and promote ongoing development.
    • Ensure the execution of the customer experience and resolve customer concerns effectively.
    • Develop and lead recruiting and hiring strategies to maintain a complete team.
    • Implement succession plans through continuous training and development initiatives.
  • Leadership
    • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting brand values and culture.
    • Motivate the team through recognition programs, store contests, and customer compliments.
    • Maintain performance management standards, including progressive discipline when necessary.
    • Follow disciplinary processes consistently and fairly.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment that is safe and empowering.
  • What You Bring
    • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams through setting expectations, communication, coaching, and feedback.
    • Ability to manage daily and weekly plans for the department and store.
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
    • Strong training and mentoring capabilities.
    • 3-5 years of retail experience.
    • High energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed.
    • Basic computer skills.
