Job summary

Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is seeking a Store Manager for the Dryden store located at 60 Van Horne Ave. You will lead daily operations, coach a sales and service team, and ensure an outstanding guest experience from entry to delivery.

We offer a base salary of $70,000–$90,000 plus a comprehensive benefits plan, education assistance, and strong career progression in a purpose-driven Canadian company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail sales or hospitality management.
• Proven sales ability and track record.
• Proven track record of building and coaching high-performance teams.
• Strong self-management with a sense of urgency.
• Able to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn in-house software.
• Willing to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and drive sales through coaching and leadership.
• Create a work environment that promotes employee engagement.
• Meet goals and KPIs, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage budgeting, reporting, and P&L review.
• Implement corporate sales and marketing programs.
• Engage with the local community to understand the market.
• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Oversee quarterly inventory counts and loss prevention.
