The Role:

We are seeking a Store Manager for our upcoming Midtown Plaza location in Saskatoon, SK. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a passion for sporting apparel and footwear. The Store Manager will lead all aspects of store operations, including driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and coaching a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Motivate the sales team to exceed targets weekly and monthly.
  2. Improve in-store strategies while adhering to company standards.
  3. Foster a community culture through strong customer relationships and service.
  4. Set weekly schedules and delegate daily tasks.
  5. Increase store sales via effective inventory management and merchandising.
  6. Manage end-to-end in-store e-commerce sales, including processing and shipping orders.
  7. Reduce inventory shrinkage by addressing discrepancies and resolving issues.
  8. Handle weekly bank deposits and manage store expenses.
  9. Develop talent pipelines to promote from within and develop future leaders.
  10. Stay informed about new product releases and upcoming merchandise.
  11. Coordinate with HR to fill staffing positions and train new staff.
  12. Manage biweekly payroll submissions.
  13. Ensure visual presentation standards are met.
  14. Organize and host local events and initiatives, maintaining company standards.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
  • 5+ years of retail management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Confidence in making critical business decisions.
  • A passion for fashion, sportswear, or footwear.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and Excel reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with iOS-based programs and MS Office applications.
