GENERAL FUNCTION

The Store Manager leads the store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving performance targets, and managing staff effectively.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure staff performs sales and service processes to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrate and promote the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members.
  • Analyze store financial data and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Achieve targets in NPS, sales, customer count, store profitability, and training KPIs.
  • Recruit, select, and forecast staffing needs.
  • Handle administrative duties including payroll and inventory management.
  • Inspire staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Manage Doctor of Optometry partnerships and co-planning.
  • Follow policies on inventory management and safety programs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report regulatory contacts promptly.
  • Maximize optometric partnerships through active involvement.
  • Create a safe and engaging work environment.
  • Maintain store appearance and execute visual directives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Team building and management abilities.
  • Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Sales experience.
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • State licensure or ABO certification, if applicable.
  • LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification.
  • Experience in customer service and retail.
  • Knowledge of store merchandise.
  • Strong business acumen, including familiarity with LC Dashboard.
