The Role:

We are seeking a Store Manager for our Pickering location! The ideal candidate has an upbeat attitude and a passion for sporting apparel and footwear. The Store Manager will lead all store operations, drive sales, maintain visual standards, and build and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Motivate the sales team to exceed weekly/monthly sales targets.
  2. Continuously improve in-store strategies while maintaining company standards.
  3. Develop a community culture through strong customer rapport and service.
  4. Set weekly schedules and delegate tasks daily.
  5. Increase store sales via effective inventory management and merchandising, seeking growth opportunities.
  6. Manage end-to-end daily e-commerce sales, including processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
  7. Reduce store shrinkage by investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving issues.
  8. Handle weekly bank deposits and manage store expenses.
  9. Build a talent pipeline to develop future store leaders.
  10. Stay updated on new releases and product knowledge, ensuring team awareness.
  11. Coordinate with HR to fill all store positions.
  12. Train new and promoted staff on their roles and responsibilities.
  13. Manage biweekly payroll submissions for the store team.
  14. Ensure visual presentation aligns with merchandising standards.
  15. Host local events and initiatives, maintaining company standards.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
  • 5+ years of retail management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Confidence in making critical business decisions.
  • Passion for fashion, sportswear, or footwear.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and Excel reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in iOS-based programs and MS Office suite.
