Job description

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all staff and operations, as well as maintaining the overall presentation of the store. In this supervisory role, the Manager inspires their team by demonstrating responsibility and teamwork, aligning with the company’s core values. The primary goal is total customer satisfaction, achieved by modeling effective selling techniques, developing a strong client base to increase sales, and meeting store profit objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and lead a high-performance team that reflects the company's values.
2. Communicate the company's vision and mission regularly to the team and customers.
3. Create an environment of growth, accountability, and inclusivity through staff development, performance management, training, and coaching.
4. Maintain high standards and solid product knowledge, including merchandise promotions and advertising efforts.
5. Lead staff and oversee store operations to achieve sales, service, organization, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals.
6. Select and hire qualified candidates who embody the company’s values.
7. Ensure all safety and operational standards are met.
8. Possess knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and budget management.
9. Ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety policies, and company directives.
10. Assist in various store operations such as training, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
11. Organize resources and coordinate efforts to meet business goals.
12. Process transactions through the computer and POS systems.
13. Perform additional duties outside of specific role requirements as needed.

Requirements

1. 4-6 years of retail experience, including staff supervision.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and budgeting.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Experience in staff development, coaching, and counseling.
