Job summary

Bumper to Bumper in New Glasgow, NS seeks a Store Manager to lead our automotive parts distribution team. You will drive daily operations, coach staff, manage inventory, and deliver outstanding customer service while meeting financial targets.

You will plan budgets, analyze reports, coordinate promotions and staffing, and ensure safety and housekeeping. A proven store leadership track record, P&L accountability, and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous Store Management experience.
  • General business acumen, including P&L understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency of the store including resource planning, budget development and managing efficiencies.
  • Increase business by developing and enhancing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Responsible for P&L, profitable sales growth and attaining store monthly, quarterly and annual performance objectives and continually identify and implement improvements to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Liase with internal departments supporting promotions, regional sales teams, flyers, SPIFFs, planograms, sponsorships and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain service levels, handle customer complaints and call on customers as required.
  • Complete monthly internal store audits and participate in leadership audits of stores.
  • Determine staffing requirements and manage payroll costs.
  • Maintain inventory controls to minimize shrinkage.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, SOPs, security and distribution of goods.
  • Ensure housekeeping, branding, merchandising, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Provide support for Accounts Receivable collections for store customers.
  • Lead and manage a high performing team including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
