A leading retail company is seeking a dedicated Store Manager for their Mount Pearl location. The ideal candidate will supervise a team of staff, ensure excellent customer service, and manage store operations effectively. Candidates should possess retail experience and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
Leadership and Management: Supervises 2 or more full-time employees, including Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff to ensure excellent customer service. Manages store organization, cleanliness, stocking, and overall store standards. Maintains professional relationships with staff and supervisors. Schedules staff in accordance with company guidelines to optimize customer service and store image. Implements non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, and employee relations.
Store Relationships: Builds positive relationships with suppliers, promotes excellent customer service, and resolves complaints professionally. Maintains regular onsite presence and promotes a safe, positive community image.
Training and Development: Conducts ongoing performance reviews and provides feedback. Ensures staff are trained on customer service, store standards, safety, and cash handling. Monitors training completion and mentors employees.
Communications: Ensures effective communication with staff through meetings and updates.
Organizing and Planning: Develops action plans to meet store objectives. Manages store files, reports, merchandise displays, and signage. Ensures accurate and timely reporting.
Financial: Analyzes sales and expenses to maximize profits. Manages budgets, monitors margins, safeguards cash, and reports discrepancies to District Manager.
