Founded in 1992, Première Moisson manufactures and sells bakery, pastry and charcuterie products made using a traditional approach using healthy ingredients. Première Moisson employs more than 1,200 people and has 23 bakeries in Quebec and one store in Ottawa. Many of its products are sold in grocery stores in Quebec and Ontario. Metro’s acquisition of the company allows Première Moisson to shine even more thanks to the strength of the distribution network of this leader in the food and pharmacy sectors in Quebec and Ontario.

We are currently looking for a Director to join our Montreal area teams. The person sought will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating operations in accordance with the values, policies and objectives of Première Moisson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet financial goals
  • Conduct analyses and write different reports
  • Ensure control of variable expenses
  • Hold and facilitate meetings with different departments
  • Plan operations
  • Market planning
  • Adhere to marketing plans
  • Ensure the HR component such as: Workforce needs, hiring, salary, evaluation, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with and update of quality processes and procedures; Maintenance of the store, equipment, storage, etc. of Occupational Health and Safety, Values and First Harvest Mission.

Requirements:

  • BA in Business Administration or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Bakery, Pastry or food store management
  • Excellent knowledge of retail accounting
  • Ability to make business decisions
