The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Store Manager for a permanent full-time role in Kitchener, ON. You will direct store operations to meet sales targets, manage staff, and ensure a safe, customer-focused shopping experience.

This position is located at 563 Highland Road West, Kitchener, On. Starting salary is budgeted to be between $52,228.81 and $62,228.81, depending on skills and experience.
The role ensures consistent profitability of the store by implementing national and regional standards in sales, customer service, merchandising, marketing, public relations, staff training, reclamation and product donation flow, transportation, and processing of in-store donations.
The incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Internal: Retail District Managers, other Retail Store Managers and store team
External: Guests, donors, vendors, community store partners
Reports directly to the District Manager.
Direct reports: Supervises a team of Sales Associates of different levels: responsible for hiring, terminating or making disciplinary decisions, directly supervise 20 or more full-time, part-time, and/or volunteers, provide direction concerning current tasks or consult in assignments. This is a union location, experience interpreting and following a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
This is a permanent full time position
All Salvation Army NRO employees are required to wear safety shoes at all times in all Store and DRC locations.
Ability to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion.
The target hiring range for this position is $55,244.80 to $69,076.80 with a maximum of $82,888.00.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
