Job Title: Store Manager - Durham Region, Ontario

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, people-oriented Store Manager who can multitask and keep things running smoothly in our busy salon environment.

What You Bring to Chatters
  • Enthusiasm for all things beauty
  • At least 5 years of experience in a retail leadership role, including sales performance, operations management, and inventory management
  • Previous salon experience is a great asset
  • Ability to build rapport with guests and team, with an understanding that “Experience is Everything”
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills
  • Superior time management skills—delivering on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of computer systems like POS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Gmail
  • Aspiring to inspire others and be your own success story
  • Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Problem-solving skills; responsible and reliable
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage retail operations effectively
  • Analyze and improve systems and processes
  • Oversee guest appointments with a friendly attitude
  • Coach and train sales team to meet store sales targets
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and merchandised salon
  • Be the product knowledge expert, overseeing inventory, ordering, and pricing
  • Monitor budgets, payroll, scheduling, and costs
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests and staff
