Job description

Manage all aspects of store operations including but not limited to: sales, vehicle production, customer care, and personnel. Ensure the store operates safely and complies with environmental regulations, while adhering to administrative policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $78,785.00 to $90,000.00 Annually

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies. Promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant store for employees and customers.
  • Manage, train, and develop Managers in Training (MIT), Assistant Managers, Sales Supervisors, Production Supervisors, and Vehicle Purchasing Agents (VPA) to prepare them for advancement.
  • Responsible for staffing, delegating duties, and scheduling.
  • Attract, screen, hire, retain, and develop employees through performance management and goal setting.
  • Drive store performance by optimizing sales, production, and vehicle purchasing.
  • Analyze financial statements and operating statistics to take corrective actions.
  • Build community relationships to promote the Pick-n-Pull brand.
  • Lead by example by following company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and implement policies at the store level.
  • Prepare operating reports for the Regional Director.
  • Ensure transactions and cash management comply with company policies.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with internal support resources to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Activities:

  • Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient vision to perform job functions safely.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct the hiring, training, development, and performance of managers, supervisors, and hourly employees.

Job Conditions:

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to chemical hazards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Solid quantitative skills to understand financial performance and operating statistics.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum of 3 years management or leadership experience in the automotive field preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
