Training and Development

Great training is the foundation for exceptional performance. The Store Leader training program covers store operations, fresh food and merchandising concepts, financial information, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily store operations, supervise employees, and manage inventory.
2. Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet guest needs.
3. Develop successful sales plans to grow profitability.
4. Recruit, train, develop, and motivate employees.
5. Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork, setting high standards for guest service.
6. Implement new product lines and strategies to promote them.
7. Promote 7-Eleven to guests and the community.
8. Maintain product mix and inventory levels to increase sales and control inventory.
9. Ensure safety and security of the store, documenting incidents appropriately.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of college, or military experience.
• Experience in food service, retail, or grocery management.
• Effective training, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented team player/manager.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
