Job Summary :

Trane in London, Ontario is hiring a Store Team Leader for our Residential Parts & Supply Store. As the Store Team Leader, you will be responsible for the successful management and leadership of a Trane Supply Store and warehouse facility. In this role, you will lead a team of customer sales associates, warehouse technicians, and other specialty positions based on local market, product offerings, and other factors. The Store Leader is responsible for the management of overall operations and sales, understanding local markets and product representation, and leading and developing the store team.

Where is the work :

This position has been designated as On-Site.

What you will do :
  1. Lead the team by fostering a customer-focused culture and build strong relationships with key customers, achieved by effectively executing Trane Technologies RMX program.
  2. Develop and coach a strong, diverse team to achieve performance goals and business results in both warehouse and retail store.
  3. Develop and execute annual operating plans for the store. Prepare and analyze business forecasts and reports, conduct audits and reviews to ensure business process and financial compliance.
  4. Manage store operations to ensure follow-through, productivity, and quality in standard work and processes. Oversee store inventory program to ensure inventory levels support customer availability and reduce OSMI (Obsolete Slow Moving Inventory). Forecast requirements and provide input to SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process.
  5. Ensure the showroom is well-maintained and presentable.
  6. Stay current on market trends and products through continuous education.
  7. Occasionally operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
What you will bring :
  1. Two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting, with proven sales experience and customer relationship building skills.
  2. Results-driven, a strong team player, and able to maintain high energy levels even in challenging situations or with difficult customers.
  3. Proficiency in inventory management systems or retail sales programs, along with strong computer skills.
  4. Associate’s (AA) degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. GED or High School Diploma required.
  5. Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations such as DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless or Careless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions in the past 3 years.
  6. Basic understanding of Lean Principles.
Compensation :

Base Pay Range : $75,000 and up based on experience, with a monthly incentive plan of 20%.

This role is designated as Safety Sensitive.

Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan. The base pay range is based on national averages; actual pay may vary based on seniority, merit, and geographic location.
