Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leading on Duty (LOD). You will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards and support teamwork and employee development.

As Store Lead, you’ll mentor associates, address performance concerns with the Store Manager, participate in training initiatives, and help drive store profitability while ensuring a safe, organized shopping

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years retail experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing talent through training of associates.
  • Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
  • Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
  • Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
  • Assess performance and provide feedback during daily interactions and annual reviews.
  • Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and a positive store environment.
  • Model and demonstrate excellent customer service on the sales floor.
  • Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge.
