Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery-focused team member to serve pro customers in Mississauga. You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts, promote sales and loyalty programs, and assist in daily credit account collection.

The role emphasizes customer relationships and accurate inventory handling. Strong communication in English (Spanish a plus), valid driver’s license, and automotive parts experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• English speaking and writing; Spanish is a plus.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to pro customers and ensure safe delivery.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Collect daily credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock.
• Perform stock counts and manage inventory.
• Engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts/services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned

• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
• Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success
• Automotive parts experience is preferred

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 17.60 CAD and 18.85 CAD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
