Job summary

CarQuest Products, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while building lasting relationships and promoting current sales programs.

The role requires safe driving, effective communication, and strong knowledge of automotive parts. You will upsell, assist walk-in customers and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Automotive parts experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
