Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will maintain inventory knowledge and assist customers with product recommendations.

You will operate the delivery board system, handle returns, upsell related items, and help keep the store clean and organized. The role requires a valid driver's license, English proficiency, and the ability to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math to handle transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Operate delivery board system.
• Perform cycle counts and stock management including back stock.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
