Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a delivery driver to safely pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and assist in upselling while collecting credits daily.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and strong English communication. You’ll maintain store cleanliness, stock, and inventory knowledge, with opportunities for bonuses and career growth.

  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
  • Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
  • Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
Prior Experience That Sets a Driver Up For Success
  • Automotive parts experience is preferred
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Starting wage : 17.60$

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 17.60 CAD and 20.70 CAD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
