Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores in Nanaimo is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly, courteous service while assisting customers and maintaining the store. You will stock shelves, Merchandise and keep areas clean, contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.

No experience is required — training is provided. You’ll work with a diverse team, enjoy flexible hours and employee discounts, and be part of a trusted Canadian retailer with strong community involvement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, approachable; good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and basic cash register familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner, over the phone and in person.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Perform hole checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
