Storage Engineer - Permanent | Hybrid (Toronto)
- Develop business cases, RFI / RFP, and service level agreements.

Required Qualifications
- University Degree or Technical Certificate.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of storage management experience in large enterprises, including designing, building, administering, and monitoring storage solutions.
- 2+ years scripting experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
- NetApp NCDA certification is mandatory.
- Certifications such as Hitachi Content Platform, Azure AZ-900 are assets.
- Provide on-call support for deployed infrastructure and Level 1 technical support.
- Advanced knowledge of storage technology and its interactions across multiple platforms and environments.
- Extensive project experience with Object and NAS technologies, storage provisioning, virtualization, and performance management.
- Deep understanding of Storage Networking concepts: SMB, NFS, object storage, SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and related technologies.
- Experience with storage hardware and software products like NetApp, Hitachi, EMC.
- Experience working with storage systems in Unix/Windows environments, particularly with NetApp clustered systems and Hitachi Content Platform.
- Proficiency with UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
- Knowledge of engineering frameworks, tools, processes, and organizational issues.
- Understanding of business standards, applications, networks, and best practices.
- Ability to address complex problems with in-depth skills and broad knowledge.
