Job summary

London Drugs Limited is seeking a Stocking Team Leader for an overnight shift to oversee the stocking team and ensure the store opens on time. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to policies while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience or the drive to advance to management, with the ability to train others and monitor performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Flexible to work overnight shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee stocking team and ensure the store opens on time.
  • Demonstrate professional leadership, coaching and follow-up with staff.
  • Provide quality customer service while enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Mentor team, delegate tasks and monitor work habits for efficiency.
  • Support merchandising and maintain a sense of urgency on the floor.

Stocking Team Leader – Overnight Shift

The Stocking Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the Stocking Team members and ensuring the store is ready for opening. This team is vital to the operational requirements of the store and enhances our ability to provide the optimum level of customer service on the general sales floor. Although this is not a management position, applicants should have a desire to advance to management in the future. The successful candidate must complete and pass the designated Level 1 First Aid Course within one month of commencement of the position.

Applicants must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while at the same time providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

You will have good inter-personal, motivational, delegation and follow up skills, combined with a willingness to accept responsibility, and an ability to train others and monitor their work habits.

You will have a positive, mature, and professional leadership style, and a solid understanding of policies and procedures. Supervisory experience would be considered an asset.

If you have experience in merchandising, the ability to work with a sense of urgency, combined with excellent communication skills, then we have the opportunity for you to excel!

Applicants must be available to work an overnight shift between 10:00 P.M. to 6:30 A.M., Monday to Sunday.
